25 years ago on this day February 16, 1993 Tupac released his second album Strictly 4 My Niggaz. The album was released by T.N.T Recordings, Interscope Records and EastWest Records and has sold 1.7 million copies domestically. In 1997 Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur inherited the rights to the album.

Tupac created the acronym for N.I.G.G.A which stood for Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished.


Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Zfeatured singles such as I Get Around with Money B and Shock, Papaz Song with Mopreme Shakur and Keep Ya Head Up. The music video for Keep Ya Head Up had a special appearance from long time friend Jada Pinkett.
