Tupac Outlawz Still I Rise Goes Gold

Eighteen Years ago, on February 10th 2000, Tupac’s third posthumous studio album Still I Rise was certified Gold in Canada. The album was released on 21st December 1999 by Interscope Records.

The album consisted of 15 songs such as Letter to the president, Hell 4 a Hustler and Baby Don’t Cry. Baby Don’t Cry, also known as Keep Ya Head Up 2, was the only track off the album to have a music video and was the only single.

Letter To The President was featured on the 2001 blockbuster film Training Day starring Denzel Washington.

The album’s production came together by the likes of Tony Pizarro, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, and Johnny J.

Still I Rise would also hit certified Gold status On March 14th 2014 in the UK by BPI (British Recorded Music Industry).
