As the USA Network is set to premiere the Tupac and Biggie Unsolved series tonight February 27 @ 10PM/ET. The 10 part series is directed by Emmy award winner Anthony Hemingway who is most notable for his work on The People v. O.J Simpson: American Crime Story. Greg Kadding co-executive produced the series and authored of the infamous book Murder Rap: The Untold Story of Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations.

Unsolved is a scripted true crime serial that chronicles the two major police investigations by LAPD Detective Greg Kading into the murders of Tupac and Biggie. Greg Kading is played by Josh Duhamel.

Josh Duhamel was interviewed by aol.com. When asked how he would hope people will react to Unsolved Duhamel had this to say, “This is what for it: That people get a chance to see Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls as human beings and not just as hip-hop icons. I want people to take away from this the idea that many people were affected by these murders.”

Marc Rose who was once considered to play Tupac in All Eyez On Me biopic will portray the legend in this series.

Wavvy Jonez an MC himself will play Biggie Smalls. In 2014 Wavvy Jones the New York native, released his mixtape R.E.D.D.O.P.E (Real Everyday Drama Doing Over People’s Expectation).

Long time Tupac fan Dominic Santana is feeling extra blessed and expressed his gratitude via instagram earlier this month. Santana will portrayed Suge Knight in the Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me will also play Suge Knight in the upcoming Tupac & Biggie Unsolved Series.

Another familiar face is that of actor Bokeem Woodbine who will play officer Daryn Dupree in the Unsolved series and formed a relationship with Tupac back in 1994. The two of them, Tupac and Bokeem met at the movie premiere for Jason’s Lyric in which Bokeem had a role in the movie.

Tupac and Bokeem would later have a chance to work together on the big screen in the movie Girdloc’d. Bokeem played the character of Mud in the movie and appeared in one scene.

Bookem recently stopped by the Breakfast Club and talked about the movie Juice, how his relationship with Tupac started, new series Unsolved and the music video I Ain’t Mad At Cha. I Ain’t Mad At Cha was off of Tupac’s double album All Eyez On Me. The video was released after Tupac’s death in 1996 and featured Bokeem.
